07/23/2003 Entry: "Tuesday 7-22-03"
So acentos was as good as always. It never seems to dissapoint. I get a lot of the same feelings from acentos that I used to get at Urbana when it was in th cbgb's basement or when I first started going to Bar 13. It's like a different vibe than is present in the venues now. Everything seems so forced and unnatural. Acentos seems very natural and I always have a good time, it doesn't even have to do with the quality of the poetry there is just another element there that can't be described. Congrats to Oscar and Fish for getting acentos off the ground, and making it so inclusive and welcoming.
On a different note, I am going to go over a grant at T&W today. Going to try and get some funding to do this film project I want to do. More on that later. Wish me luck.
