08/24/2003 Entry: "Seven Staurdays and rooftop chat"

When to Ishle's "seven saturday's" at the Bowery to see Evert Eden, Alex Chee, Staceyann Chin, and Doria Roberts. It was a great set of performances. Each one moving the audience in a different way. Really glad Ishle is doing that reading series, its really been a great set of shows.
Afterwards we went to go eat at republic in Union Square, with Nancy, Alex, Pimpila, Ishle and Jeannie. Alex chipped his tooth on a bone in the pork. So be careful if you decide to go there.
Later we went to Alex's beautiful apartment over looking the empire state building and third avenue. WOW. We left there to go to Joey's birthday party and had a few drinks there, it was cool. Happy Birthday Joey!
We split up and Jeannie, Nancy and I, went to Nancy's roof to talk and eat chips and salsa. The view there was amazing too. We stayed up there talking until almost five in the morning. I am squeezing all the fun out of summer that I can. Yaay!
