RNC and Other Nonsense:
The office that Omar and I have rented to do our writing and stuff is one long block and one short block from Madison Square Garden. I don't know if I will have access to it next week. This RNC thing sucks on so many levels. I am absolutely sure that the city will lose money. I walked by today and saw all the stuff their putting up in preparation. It's insane. SO many roadblocks and trailers army guys and cops. I shouldn't even get into it here. Time to change the subject.
I got an advanced copy of Bjork's new album. It's very different than her other albums, in that its mainly focused on the voice as instrument. She has beat boxing, choruses, vocal loops. It takes some time to get used to although I would still recommend getting it, there are some really beautiful songs.
