09/20/2004 Entry: "batman"
If anyone wants a glimpse into how Christian Bale will do as batman, they should really check out this movie called "Equilibrium". It was on cable the other day. It's a futuristic Matrix like retelling of Fahrenheit 451, with a little 1984, and Brave new world thrown in. I have to say I really liked it. It was different enough to keep me interested and although the movie wasn't perfect it had a lot of good scenes, and Christian Bale was somber and dark yet explosive and tough. It made me excited about batman begins even more. Rent it or catch it on showtime, its well worth it.
September is over. why is time going so fast? I know people are saying that it's because I'm older and whatever but I have a lot of my students that think it went by too fast also. I think it has more to do with the weather, but who knows.
NYFA applications are due October first. Get them done send them out. Hand deliver it so it doesn't get lost. I think I'm gonna apply in Fiction next year. Really want to do more fiction. I think it might be more liberating for me.
It's cold. I want to be in Hawaii.
